Started diving after doing a discovery scuba diving resort course in St. Thomas back in 1993
What caused you to make the leap from amateur to dive professional?
Lead from amateur to dive professional start in 2017. In addition to the love of diving, the goal was to start to find a fun second job as I prepared for retirement.
Favorite class to teach?
Scuba Refresher
Favorite dive destination?
Any warm water location but always fall back to Hawaii as our favorite place to vacation.
What is your most beloved critter to spot under the waves?
12 foot hammer shark swimming by himself and me wondering, where are your friends….
What is your “must have” piece of dive equipment?
Dive computer as allows for me to simply what I need to do underway.
Favorite non-diving activity?
Skiing, snowboarding, hiking and surfing
Favorite post-dive treat or beverage?
Ice cold Gatoraid followed by ice cold adult beverage.
Any advice you’d like to offer divers new and old?
Simple advice is try to be a lazy diver. Don’t swim with arms. Don’t kick like you are sprinting the last mile of a marathon. Don’t work hard underwater.
